MNM Productions has announced that the July 20 Preview Performance of Stephen Sondheim’s Company  will benefit the KRETZER PIANO MUSIC FOUNDATION, which brings the gift of music to children and seniors.

Tickets for the benefit are $50 each and can only be purchased through the Kravis Center, either online, by phone or at the box office. As an added bonus, the Kretzer Kids will perform in the lobby from 6:45 to 7:15 pm, before the 7:30 pm curtain.

A former Miss New Jersey and the over-stressed mother of three, Blizzard regales the audience with side-splitting stories about the trials and tribulations of marriage and motherhood.

ONE FUNNY MOTHER follows the sassy mama as she prepares for her big ‘Girls Night Out,” while wrestling with the eternal question,” Have I gone crazy since having kids?” This is a “laugh ‘till your face hurts” comedy that appeals to everyone!

The City of Boca Raton’s Summer in the City series continues with a Tom Petty Tribute.

Tribute concert attendees ages 21 and over can sample a variety of craft beers from Hollywood Brewery at the Beer Garden starting at 7:00 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, car pool and use free parking at City Hall and the Boca Raton Library.

THE GIRLS FINALS MATCHES

 

USTA Girls National 12 Clay Court Championships, July 15-22

The USTA Girls National 12 Clay Court Championship will take place at the Polo Club of Boca Raton, which is a private tennis facility that maintains 29 clay courts.  The event is scheduled from July 15-22 2017. This is a junior tennis tournament for girls that are 12 years old and under.  The draw consists of 128 players in a modified compass singles draw and in a 64 single elimination doubles draw.  This is 1 of 4 national championships that takes place in the United States for this age group.   Over 500 room nights and $150,000 of economic impact are projected.

4 shuttle boats from Sands Dock

Sail times - 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00

A fun day at the lighthouse. Enjoy the cool ocean breezes blowing with crispness in the air. Come to 125 North Riverside Drive, Pompano Beach, FL on the North side of the Sands Harbor Resort and Marina. Parking is on the east side of the street in the City (pay) parking lot. Registration/check-in starts 30 minutes prior to the first sail time and remains open until the last boat returns.

 

The boat leaves the Sands dock to the lighthouse at each sail time. The boat leaves the Lighthouse dock to the Sands approximately 30 minutes later (for an approximate 1 hour round trip). We suggest an arrival at the respective dock 10-20 minutes before the departure time. Friendly members will register/check you in, provide you with a wrist band, and assist you with boarding for the boat ride to/from the lighthouse. A current HLPS membership or a $25 PP transportation fee is required.

WelcomeS all players and collegiate coaches to the 51st anniversary of the USTA BOYS’ 18 & 16 NATIONAL CLAY COURT CHAMPIONSHIPS hosted by the City of Delray Beach (July 16 – 23, 2017). This prestigious event, consisting of over 440 of the top-ranked Boys 18s & 16s in the United States, is organized by Players’ International Management, the staff of the Delray Beach Open, the only combined 10-day ATP World Tour Event and ATP Champions Tour Event in the world.
