BOCA RATON

BOCA RATON

Boca Raton, Florida has a combination of everything one could desire in a destination. As a town to call home, or as an additional address for short vacations or extended stays, Boca, as it is locally known, offers an enviable lifestyle.  Renowned for both climate and beauty, the magnificent architecture of Downtown Boca enhanced by its towering and majestic palm trees lies as a gateway to miles of meticulously maintained public and private beaches. Central Boca, has dozens of fabulous country clubs with acres and acres of magnificent PGA rated golf courses, both private and public, as well as an official PGA Champions Tour Event.

Boca Raton also has some of the highest academically rated schools in the state, including several “A” rated public and private options for all ages.  Additionally Boca is home to several universities including Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Lynn University, Everglades University, and Palm Beach State. The Boca Raton community values its culture as evidenced by its support for art, theater, and nature as sponsors of several museums including; Boca Raton Museum of Art,  The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens,  and the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. One of Palm Beach County's top attractions, the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is named after George Morikami, a pineapple farmer who donated his land for use as a park after his death. The 200 acre Morikami park has become one of Palm Beach County's top tourist destinations attracting visitors from throughout the United States and abroad. It is the only museum of Japanese culture in the United States.  The museum is surrounded by luscious gardens, a waterfall and a forest of pine trees that make the Morikami a popular escape for thousands of visitors. The Museum hosts regular special events that showcase Japanese culture. Four major festivals draw multitudes to the Morikami throughout the year.

The Town Center Mall and Plaza has some of best shopping outside of Fifth Avenue, New York.  Large department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Lord and Taylor,  Macy’s and Bloomingdales are encircled by myriad boutiques both luxury and independent with clothing from local designers that truly grasp the Boca “vibe”.

Boca Raton’s nightlife offers a varied blend of entertainment options such as modern nightclubs, concert halls, live theater, ipic and premiere movie houses and quiet lounges. Downtown Boca Raton’s Mizner Park with restaurants, engaging boutiques, amphitheater, movie and playhouses is ideal for an evening out.

Located just 25 miles away from two major airports, the beauty, climate, culture, entertainment and education opportunities combine to make Boca Raton an exceptional place to live or visit anytime.
